BCCI proclaims the entire schedule for 2021-22 home season
On Saturday, the Board of Management for Cricket in India (BCCI) introduced the return of home cricket by releasing the entire schedule for the 2021-22 season.
The home season will start with the Ladies’s One Day League, beginning on September 21. Equally, the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy shall begin from October 20, with the ultimate to be performed on November 12.
India’s premier home competitors, the Ranji Trophy, can be performed in a three-month window from November 2021 to February 2022. The earlier version of the Ranji Trophy was cancelled because of the COVID-19 outbreak within the nation.
“The coveted Ranji Trophy, which was cancelled final season because of the COVID-19 pandemic, will probably be performed in a three-month window from November 16, 2021, to February 19, 2022,” stated the Indian apex board in an announcement.
The Vijay Hazare Trophy, which is India’s 50-over event for males, will happen from February 23, 2022, to March 26, 2022. As many as 2127 home video games will probably be performed within the upcoming season throughout varied age teams for women and men.
